Argon es una app para Mac que vive en el notch. Esta página explica qué datos tocan la web y la app, y cuáles no.
Quién es el responsable

La web
- Está alojada en Cloudflare, que procesa tu dirección IP para servir la página y protegerla de abusos.
- La tarjeta del tiempo de la portada muestra tu ciudad aproximada, que sale de tu IP en el momento. No se guarda.
- No usamos publicidad ni cookies de seguimiento. Tu idioma se guarda solo en tu navegador.
La app
Argon funciona en tu Mac, no pide cuenta y no envía estadísticas de uso. Estas son las únicas conexiones que hace, y solo si usas la función correspondiente:
- El tiempo: Open-Meteo recibe tu ubicación para dar la previsión. Por defecto es aproximada, calculada con tu IP (ipwho.is); si activas la ubicación precisa, es la de tu Mac.
- Letras y portadas: LRCLIB y Apple (iTunes Search) reciben el título y el artista de la canción que suena.
- Panel de Claude: si lo usas, Argon consulta a Anthropic tus límites de uso con tu propia sesión de Claude.
- Actualizaciones y compra: Argon consulta tryargon.app para ver si hay una versión nueva.
Licencia y prueba gratuita
La clave se comprueba en tu Mac, sin conexión. Para evitar abusos, Argon puede consultar a nuestro servicio de licencias dos cosas: el inicio de la prueba de 48 h, asociado a un código irreversible (un hash) de tu Mac que no permite identificar tu hardware, y si tu clave ha sido revocada, usando el identificador de la licencia.
Pagos
El pago lo gestiona Stripe. Nosotros recibimos tu nombre, tu correo y la confirmación del pago, nunca el número de tu tarjeta. Tu clave te llega por correo a través de Resend.
Cuánto tiempo guardamos los datos
Los datos de compra (nombre, correo, clave) los guardamos mientras tu licencia siga vigente o lo exija la ley (por ejemplo, la contable). El resto no se guarda.
Tus derechos
Puedes pedir acceso, rectificación, supresión, portabilidad u oposición escribiendo a support@tryargon.app. Si crees que no hemos respondido bien, puedes reclamar ante la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
Menores
Argon no está dirigido a menores de 14 años y no recogemos datos suyos a sabiendas.
Cambios
Si esta política cambia, actualizaremos la fecha de arriba.

Argon is a Mac app that lives in the notch. This page explains what data the website and the app touch, and what they don't.
Who is responsible

The website
- It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to serve the page and protect it from abuse.
- The weather card on the home page shows your approximate city, derived from your IP at that moment. It is not stored.
- We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Your language choice is kept only in your browser.
The app
Argon runs on your Mac, needs no account and sends no usage statistics. These are the only connections it makes, and only if you use the matching feature:
- Weather: Open-Meteo receives your location to return the forecast. By default it is approximate, worked out from your IP (ipwho.is); if you turn on precise location, it is your Mac's.
- Lyrics and artwork: LRCLIB and Apple (iTunes Search) receive the title and artist of the song playing.
- Claude panel: if you use it, Argon asks Anthropic for your usage limits with your own Claude session.
- Updates and purchase: Argon asks tryargon.app whether a new version exists.
License and free trial
The key is checked on your Mac, offline. To limit abuse, Argon may ask our licensing service two things: when the 48-hour trial started, tied to an irreversible code (a hash) of your Mac that cannot identify your hardware, and whether your key has been revoked, using the license's identifier.
Payments
Stripe handles payment. We receive your name, your email and the payment confirmation, never your card number. Your key is emailed to you through Resend.
How long we keep data
Purchase data (name, email, key) is kept while your license is active or as the law requires (for example accounting). Nothing else is stored.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, portability or objection by writing to support@tryargon.app. If you think we haven't answered properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Children
Argon is not directed at children under 14 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
